Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a shared process between you and your therapist. People come for all kinds of reasons — to inspire a change, to improve quality of life, or to face something that's hard to face alone.
Therapy can help you build skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and moving toward goals. It can increase self-compassion and self-esteem. Many people find the process of becoming more self-aware is valuable in itself, and continue in therapy for growth rather than crisis.
You don't need a diagnosis or a catastrophe to justify starting.
